The most alkaline parts of our diet are fruits, veggies & Kangen water. When our pH levels are too acidic, the body will compensate for acid by using alkaline minerals, like sodium from the stomach, or calcium from our bones. This is the cause of Osteoporosis and most other chronic diseases. If there are not enough minerals in the diet to compensate, a build-up of acids in the cells will occur.

Simply waiting for the sensation of thirst is not a good enough sign of a need to drink – by the time we feel thirsty our body is already dehydrated and potentially suffering some of the effects. Equally, simply drinking to eliminate the feeling of thirst does not fully hydrate the body.
